- Most Restricted Handguns $300-400

- Most Prohibited Handguns with barrel length under 105mm(4.13in) $250-350
Pricing includes physical altercations to the firearm and all necessary paperwork completed. All pricing plus applicable taxes, there are no bulk discounts if you have multipe guns. All deactivation works require full payment upon drop off. If your gun is not listed or does not fall under one of the above categories, please feel free to contact us for pricing.
How long does it take?
At this time we can not provide an accurate timeline due to the surging demands, please expect a minimum of 6-8 weeks for us to complete the work and submit the paperwork.
How do I bring my gun(s) to you? Do I need an appointment?
You can drop off gun(s) for deactivation anytime during our store hours, no appointment needed. You can also ship it to us via your preferred courier and notify us prior to shipping it out.
Do I need an ATT to transport my now prohibited firearm?
Amnesty Orders protect individual owners from criminal liability while they take steps to comply with the law, including transporting a prohibited assault-style firearm for the purpose of disposal. An Authorization to Transport (ATT) is not required to transport a prohibited assault-style firearm for disposal during the amnesty period. Source
Can I get compensated for the deactivation cost from the government?
The following information is from the government of Canada website regarding compensation models and we do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided.
Businesses and individual firearms owners who choose to permanently deactivate their prohibited firearms are reimbursed at a flat rate of:
- $400 per firearm, or
- $700 for firearms with a muzzle energy greater than 10,000 Joules, or a bore diameter of 20 mm or greater
What will be done to the gun to deactivate it? Can it be re-activated in the future?
The physical alterations are included but not limited to the following. Filling the barrel with a solid steel rod and welding it in place. Removing/grinding firing pin, sear and other trigger components. Permanently attaching a magazine to the receiver. The exterior of the firearm will remain largely unaltered with the exception of looking down the muzzle. There is absolutely no possibility to re-activate any properly deactivated gun.
What can I do with a deactivated firearm?
After deactivation, your firearm becomes an inert object, you are free to display it, sell it or use it as a paperweight.
